Tips to get the MAXIMUM Utility from applying face mask!

1. Cool your mask.

Sheet masks already do wonders in terms of soothing and cooling the skin, but you can up this “shiok” factor by popping your sheet mask into the fridge for 30 minutes before application.

2. Wash your face before apply your mask

Before applying the mask, make sure you have washed your face thoroughly and patted it dry. Do not allow it to be damp. The moisture may not allow the mask to work effectively.

3. Longer is not better

It’s normal to think that if you get X amount of benefits from 20 minutes, an hour must mean triple the results. This type of logic doesn’t always apply to sheet masks. If the sheet mask itself dries out, it will start sucking moisture out of your skin.

4. Apply masks after you shower.

The warm water from your shower will create steam, which will in turn open up your pores. This will soften the dirt already in there, making it easier for the gunk to leave your skin. It also makes your face more susceptible to all the good ingredients in a mask.

5. What comes before and after a sheet mask is just as important as the sheet mask itself

Sheet masks are infused with serums that are designed to penetrate the skin efficiently. Once you remove the sheet mask, remember to gently pat the remaining serum into your skin to aid absorption. And a quick tip – if there’s any serum sloshing around the inside of your sheet mask packet, apply this to your face, neck, and back of hands before you apply the sheet mask for maximum efficiency.
