SHISEIDO

SHISEIDO: Japan's Oldest Beauty House, from Fino Hair Masks to Future Solution LX

SHISEIDO was founded in Tokyo's Ginza district in 1872 as Japan's first Western-style pharmacy, making it the oldest cosmetics company in Japan and one of the oldest in the world. Today the Shiseido Group spans prestige skincare, makeup, men's grooming and the Japanese drugstore hair care brands Fino and Tsubaki. This collection brings together both sides of SHISEIDO: the luxury counter lines and the Japan-only pharmacy favourites, all shipped from Hong Kong.

SHISEIDO is Japanese, not Korean

SHISEIDO is often grouped with K-beauty by international shoppers, but it is a Japanese brand with Japanese formulation standards. J-beauty favours fewer steps, refined textures and ingredients such as camellia, rice bran and royal jelly, and the Fino and Tsubaki lines are only officially sold in Japan, which is why LMCHING imports them directly.
