Driving Social Impact, Youth Employment and Strategic Investment in Botswana

Gaborone, Botswana · July 2026

The meeting served as a platform to formally introduce LMCHING and its affiliated e-commerce group, while providing an overview of Botswana’s national development priorities, investment environment, and key sectors for strategic cooperation. Discussions also focused on establishing a framework for the Foundation’s presence in Botswana and identifying the appropriate next steps for implementation.

During the preceding two days, the delegation held high-level engagements with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Trade and Entrepreneurship, and the Ministry of Local Government. These discussions explored potential investment and capital mobilisation opportunities across priority sectors, with the broader objective of supporting economic diversification, strengthening productive capacity, creating sustainable growth opportunities, and contributing to Botswana’s long-term GDP growth.
