Vårt uppdrag
Hundar ger människor sitt ovillkorliga allt, och vi är centrum för deras universum. De ger oss sin kärlek, förtroende och lojalitet, och har otvivelaktigt förtjänat titeln "människans bästa vän". Katter ger oss sällskap och känslomässigt stöd och bör inte behandlas som trash när vi tappar intresset för dem.
Unfortunately, many dogs and cats are abandoned every day. They are usually elderly and disabled or suffering from some kind of illness. Some are abandoned simply because they are no longer cute and cuddly like they were as kittens and puppies. It's sad that such things still happen. Dogs and domestic cats have been domesticated by humans, and there shouldn't be homeless people wandering the streets and having to fend for themselves, never having the chance to feel the warmth and love of a home they deserve.

Vår personal besöker var och en av våra sponsrade katter och hundar för att se till att de känner sig älskade och för att få lite ljusare till deras liv. Vårt uppdrag är att hjälpa så många övergivna, herrelösa, gamla och djur. Med varje köp på nätet tror vi att vi kommer att kunna hjälpa fler djur gradvis.

Sky has been living at SAA since she was little. She has a more passive and cautious nature, and tend to be less friendly or bark towards strangers.
However, she will soon become friendly with strangers if they approach her slowly and give her gentle pats. She suffers from high potassium levels and arthritis. She will need long-term medication and also regular follow-ups and vet visits.
Ci Ci (D-1247)

Ci Ci was abandoned at the SAA as a newborn, along with Ben and Ann. She is more passive and is usually shy around strangers, avoiding them whenever she can.
Man måste ägna mycket tid åt henne för att vinna hennes förtroende, och hon är vanligtvis inte mottaglig och ibland aggressiv mot människor som hon inte är bekant med.
Tiger Stripes (no I.D number assigned)

"Tiger stripes" was a stray who was referred to the club by volunteers. She was found to be suffering from serious skin conditions, as well as heartworms, while she was being treated for her injuries by a vet.
"Tiger stripes" ögon såg onormala ut och vid ytterligare diagnos upptäcktes att hon hade en lossnad näthinnelins på vänster öga. Hon var tvungen att genomgå en operation och återhämtar sig fortfarande från den. Hennes ursprungliga hem har ansetts olämpligt för henne på grund av hennes tillstånd, och SAA har beslutat att ta emot henne och låta henne bo i föreningen.
Siu Fu(D-1435)

Siu Fu hittades övergiven på sopstationen tillsammans med sina syskon Dai Hung och Mung Mung. Lyckligtvis hittades de och fördes till SAA av en volontär.
Siu Fu adopterades 2017, men kom tillbaka till SAA 2021 på grund av att dess herre hade emigrerat.
Pearly (D-1458)

Pearly was discovered by staff tied to the side of a road near SAA, and was immediately taken to the SAA. She has a very cheerful personality, is extremely friendly and loves sticking to humans.
Pearly led av hjärtmask när hon kom tillbaka, men har sedan dess behandlats och blivit frisk. Hon hade tidigare en obstruktion av näs- och träckkanalen, som sedan dess har opererats bort. Pearly har känslig hud, och bor inomhus.
Sir (D-1293)

Sir was abandoned at the entrance of the SAA as a newborn along with another puppy, "Sha Zhan". He has a more passive nature, and is pretty timid and shy. He will generally avoid or doge strangers when they approach. However, Sir becomes friendly once he familiarizes with the people around him.
Sir har en känslig mage och lider av kronisk smärta i bakbenen. Långsiktig medicinering och veterinärbesök kommer att vara nödvändiga framöver. Han lider också av en krympt bukspottkörtel och måste ständigt ta kosttillskott för att få honom att gå upp i vikt.
Tigger (D-1370)

Tigger hittades övergiven vid ingången till SAA som nyfödd tillsammans med sin bror Tiggy. Tigger är en mer tillbakadragen personlighet som skyggar för människor. Han blir rädd och orolig så fort en främling närmar sig honom eller bara går förbi honom.
Tigger has some issues with his ears, which makes him highly susceptible to ear infection and thus has to be kept indoors. He recently experienced joint pains, and has since been needing to take shots to the bone, and will require consumption of joint supplements for the foreseeable future.
Kimchi (no I.D number assigned)

Kimchi and Mandoo were found on the streets by volunteer. Mandoo has since been adopted, while Kimchi has a problem with his left hind foot, and walks with a limp.
Han är blyg och håller sig mest för sig själv, men kommer att värma upp folk gradvis efter att ha blivit bekant under en tid.
Lucky (no I.D number assigned)

Lucky was ran over by a car outside the SAA, and was immediately rescued by staff. He was rushed to the clinic for immediate treatment.
The vet determined that Lucky suffered from a broken pelvis, and the tests came back showing that he suffered from a low red blood cell count. He has since returned to the association for recuperation.
Ted (C-0994)

Ted and Ocean were strays from Tai O. When volunteers found them, they were both suffering from severe feline distemper. Due to the seriousness of their condition, each had to have one eye removed (Ted had his right eye removed).
After their surgery, staff decided that Ted and Ocean would both remain at the SAA. Due to the constant relapse of feline distemper disease, Ted has to be isolated from the rest of the animals at the facility.
Vince (C-0998)

Vince was rescued from the streets by one of the volunteers. When she was found, she had protruding eyes. She was later diagnosed with keratitis, which led to high intraocular pressure and glaucoma.
Hennes keratit förbättrades efter behandling, men på grund av det höga intraokulära trycket i båda ögonen måste de tas bort i följd (vänster följt av hennes högra).
Dau Dau (C-0887)

DouDou's owners had to let him go because they were moving to a senior housing unit. The SAA took in 4 of the cats which required more special needs, and DouDou was one of them. He suffers from really bad skin, and because of that, he wears a cone around his neck to prevent scratching.
DouDou suffers from liver and gall bladder disease, but has his condition under control as he is currently on regular medication. Special physical traits: As his name suggests, DouDou is crosseyed (doujiyan).
Mago (C-0922)

Mago is the child of Marie, and was born in the SAA. Mago is passive and is afraid of humans. He will generally avoid strangers whenever he can.
Mago fick sitt högra öga borttaget, eftersom det lider av onormalt högt intraokulärt tryck och orsakade synproblem. Speciella fysiska egenskaper: Han är en svartvit katt med ett öga! (Piratkatt! :D)
Tiger (C-0952)

Tiger, along with B, was abandoned at the gates of the SAA. Being extremely timid, she hides from strangers and can usually be found sleeping in a corner. Tiger suffers from feline asthma, which requires long term medication and regular follow ups. She is also suspected to be suffering from chronic enteritis after preliminary examinations from the vet.
This will require regular injections of vitamin B to help improve her condition. Special physical traits: Tiger is striped (as her name suggests) and has spotted patterns on her coat as well, while having totally white feet.
Z (C-0821)

Z was abandoned as a kitten outside the gates of the SAA. She suffers from an inflammatory bowel disease, and requires long term medication and regular checkups.
Z is an active cat, and will warm up to you quickly after getting acquainted with! Special physical traits: She is black on the top of her head, and it runs down all the way along her back.
Det finns en bro som förbinder Himmel och Jord. Den kallas regnbågsbron på grund av sina många färger. Precis på denna sida av regnbågsbron finns ett land med ängar, kullar och dalar med frodigt grönt gräs. När ett älskat husdjur dör går husdjuret till denna plats.

Med tungt hjärta meddelar vi att Wren har gått bort. Wren har alltid varit en bunt av glädje och var inte annorlunda under våra par senaste besök.
We take comfort that the last moments of her life were spent with the people and dogs who mattered most to her and whom she loved back unconditionally.

Det är med stor sorg som vi meddelar att Glory, som övergavs av sin ägare på SAA när hon bara var några månader gammal, har gått bort.
Månaderna före Glorys bortgång har inte varit bra för henne. Vid våra senaste besök märkte vi att hon hade problem med att gå, eftersom hon hade fått benen ur led. Vi hoppas att hon finner evig frid och lycka över regnbågsbron.

SAA (Samhälle För Övergivna Djur AB)
The SAA (Society For Abandoned Animals Limited) was established on June 4, 1997 by a group of animal welfare ' activist. The motto of SAA is "Love Animal, Respect Life, No Killing or Abandoning". It was officially registered as a local charitable organization on May 28, 1998.
